History

   Devon Loves ME! Productions is a new, experimental theater company based in Brooklyn founded by director Melissa Ingle and clown Sevrin Willinder. Officially formed in late 2023, but with an extensive collaborative history dating back to 2019, Melissa and Sevrin have always loved fostering a highly collaborative environment where everyone involved feels their voice is heard both during the process of creation and in the final piece itself. We make devised, comedic, often very physical theater with an emotional twist, hoping to push the boundaries of what can be on stage.

   As a company, our first production was Shakespeare Translate: The Complete Works, a two person rendition of all 38 of Shakespeare’s plays run through Google Translate 15 times and then re-translated back into English. We had a successful one-week run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year (already having been asked back by the venue), as well as popular performances at the Vino Theatre and Caveat here in NYC. We raised over $3200 in crowdfunding through Indiegogo to finance this project.
